The spring function lays the knob in one of the 3 lock positions. One position is retracted, and the others are where the bolt is half extended and fully extended.

5" x 2-13/16" Satin stainless steel barrel bolt with surface, and universal strikes. Can be secured with a padlock (not included). Includes 8- #14 x 1-1/4" stainless steel Phillips pan head, and 2- #10 x 1-1/4" stainless steel Phillips flat head screws.

The barrel and strike material gauge is 2.3mm (0.87"), the bolt diameter is 0.584", and the throw is 1-3/4".

Satin finish brass barrel bolts. All components are brass including Phillips flat head tapping screws. The body stamping is 0.03" sheet metal, the bolt is 0.26" to 0.27" in diameter, and the throw varies from 7/8" to 1-1/8".
